“When Wilson McHardy is finished, Mount Street will be a one-stop shopping destination full of leading edge international design and luxury British quirks.”
Time Out Magazine
We have successfully introduced numerous luxury brands to the area, including:
Balenciaga, The Row, Oscar de la Renta, Lanvin, Goyard, Moynat,
Christopher Kane, Nicholas Kirkwood, Chrome Hearts, and Erdem.
MOUNT STREET
In July 2006 we proposed to the major land owner within the area (Grosvenor), that “Mount Street” had the potential to become better than Brompton Cross as a retail destination. We were appointed to advise the Duke of Westminster’s estate on the strategy, investment
and leasing within Mount Street, Carlos Place, Davies Street, and South Audley Street.

Wilson McHardy were appointed by the joint owners, following the purchase of the Arcade, to formulate and implement a leasing strategy to completely re-profile the retail offer and attract new international luxury brands to this iconic London shopping destination.
We were instructed following a selection process which
included at least six other Retail Advisory Consultants.

“It’s a devilishly smart concept, placing coveted brands in a setting splendid enough to inspire the least likely spend thrift.”
Financial Times - FT Weekend
Wilson McHardy strategised the refurbishment of this architechtural monument in 1999 and the introduction of luxury retail into the heart of the financial district of City of London. We advised successive owners on leasing strategies and professional services since the opening of The Courtyard;
Boodles, Hermes, Jo Malone, Leica, Mont Blanc, Omega, Smythsons,
Tiffany & Co. and Watches of Switzerland.
ROYAL EXCHANGE, CITY OF LONDON

Our first instruction upon establishing Wilson McHardy
in 1993 was 31 Old Bond Street.
Without conflict, we have acted on behalf of numerous
luxury groups and independent brands in the acquisition
of flagship boutiques and stores on ‘Bond Street and across
Mayfair, including 23 Old Bond Street for Stella McCartney.

The inspiration is based on the original Parisian couture houses of, for example, Chanel (Rue Cambo), Christian Dior (Avenue Montaigne) and Givenchy (Avenue George V).
The evolution of the concept of the “house building” was introduced into London by Jil Sander, now Abercrombie & Fitch (7 Burlington Gardens) and Stella McCartney (originally at 30 Bruton Street).
Acting on behalf of Grosvenor, Wilson McHardy launched three former townhouses to the market as “Maison Retail Concepts” in Carlos Place. In quick succession, the buildings were leased to
Jessica McCormack, Solange Azagury Partridge (now Matchesfashion.com) and Kering Group.
CARLOS PLACE, MAYFAIR
-
We have leased 50% of the stores within “The Row” for various landlords and bespoke tailors of distinction.
Wilson McHardy advised upon the purchase, refurbishment, leasing and sale of 7 Burlington Gardens (now Abercrombie & Fitch) and
the 10 former buildings which now house Ozwald Boateng and Richard James at 30/32 Savile Row.
SAVILE ROW

London is now ranked second in the world for art
sales and the gallerists keep coming to the capital.
We are sole agents in the leasing of the new
gallery of 7,500 sq ft, and a restaurant in the
